The day/week ahead

The Philippine Stock Exchange was closed for the day due to the local Barangay elections. It will resume trading activities on Tuesday.

I expect the market to be very bullish come Tuesday. Because on Monday while it was closed Asian markets rallied to post new highs backed by the bullishness of the US stock market which was upbeat due to the news that the Fed will cut interest rates again. As of this writing the US market opened higher, I'm hoping this bullishness will continue towards the close. If US closes higher there will be little reason for PSE stocks not to be bullish.

Stocks to watch: TA, PERC, COL, MER, GMAP, NRCP

PSE will only be open on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are holidays here in the Philippines, hence, no trading probably. Don't you just love working in the Philippines? :) But if all the markets are bullish... I wish that PSE would be open to be influenced by their bullishness :)

By the way, I heard from the news that COL has just increased it's target for the PSEi from 3800 to 4200 :) good news :)

I'm very sorry that I have yet to post charts today for the this week. I'm preparing for a new task on Tuesday, since I will be officially part of the faculty of the College of Medicine of UERMMMC, excited and preoccupied, hence, trading and technical analysis somewhat taken to the sidelines.
